This beautifully designed and cosily furnished cottage is an absolute gem! You can enjoy the amazing view into nature from inside through the big windows, from the big porch or - and this was our big highlight - from the fire-heated hot tub. At night you can watch the stars sitting in the hot tub with nothing but nature around. It is simply beautiful and a great place to calm down, relax and enjoy the quiet away from all street noise. Since it is entirely off the grid, it is not affected by loadshedding. We’d highly recommend taking a factory tour in the olive oil factory with Allison while there. Both Allison and Francis are very welcoming, friendly and caring hosts. If we ever make it back to South Africa, the trip up to the farm with this special cottage will be a must on the itenerary!

We loved the small touches. The electric blankets, the kitchen was well stocked, the hot tub (including the valuable instructions!), the shop and the staff. It is so private and the perfect place to relax.

I really enjoyed the comfort of the villa and its facilities. Elzeth was very welcoming and helpful with other questions that I had regarding my stay which was great. I would recommend this for people who are attending events at nearby Pat Busch as it is only a short drive away!

Tranquil setting and perfect place to have a relaxing break away. Being dog friendly was an extra bonus and our daughter's dog had a great time too. Hosts were particularly helpful and went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

A beautiful experience at the very edge of the amazing gorge. Lovely decor, well-designed spaces, excellent facilities and the finest fynbos botanical products! Although we were there on a quiet night, the chef stayed on to prepare us a delicious meal. Friendly and welcoming - a treat.
