Breakfast area outside in an incredibly beautiful hortenisa garden. Flowers overload, just stunning. Very quiet, good kitchen, lots of food for breakfast provided for free, including the most incredible sweetpotatoe bread baked in the bakery of the Quinta furao hotel in Santana. What a service! We loved everything. Owner showed up a few times to ask if everything OK or anything needed. Also provided useful information on hikes etc. Great feeling in the place. Would definitely come back.

We liked pretty much everything about the place. The room was big with equipped kitchen Ann with big balcony with nice view in the mountains and the sea.

We spontaneously stayed here for a night after our tent got flooded and we had to re-plan the rest of our trip. Elda was an absolutely lovely host and really helped us figure everything out. The property is a little paradise with lots of different trees and a lovely outside patio to sit and have a little break. Elda picked some fresh fruit and vegetables from the garden for us to use. Close walk to the beach, bus stop basically in front of the house. Lovely kitchen and living room area. We had the place all to ourselves, since we were the only guests that day. Everything was very clean and quiet. Cute little and quiet village.

It was not a hotel but a guesthouse with the loveliest hosts a person can ask for. There was a pond. There were ducks. It was a dream.

The property was so incredibly beautiful!!! Amazing view from balcony,perfect for morning yoga and coffee . Apartment very stylish and cozy. We was so thankful for the space where we can relax after long hikes. Inside you can find everything what you need and much more! The location is perfect for hiking. Very close to Pico Areiro and other Levada trials. Very quiet house. Owners very friendly, they welcomed us with fresh fruits from them garden and with homemade biscuits. Highly recommended! We definitely want to come back because is worth it! Thank you for everything!

Everything has exceeded our expectations, the scenery, facilities, staff, atmosphere, and especially the sauna. We expected a simple steam room, but it was a high-quality sauna with a "Harvia" branded heater, perfect for those looking to get a really hot sauna, but you can also choose a lower setting if that's your preference. There's a hot/cold shower in the sauna, as well as an outdoor pool to cool down after the sauna. Our stay came with bathrobes which made the stay feel even more luxurious. The atmosphere was amazing, views from anywhere within the hotel are mindblowing and the staff was super friendly. Since the hotel is a bit uphill, on our last day, the clouds were a bit lower so we woke up to what felt like having clouds in front of us, instead of above us. Relaxing at the balcony with this kind of view felt like heaven. 11/10
