The Quinta is overlooking the valley with beautiful terraced vineyards and fruit trees. Our room was spacious, beautifully furnished, super clean and with a very comfortable big bed. It's great having a coffee maker in the room. The bathroom is modern and kitted with toiletry products. Fernando welcomed us with a glass of vintage port on arrival and gave us recommendations for places to visit. The breakfast was delicious.

Breakfast was wonderful, room lacked a bit of privacy, shower blocked up and leaked a bit, room should have been cleaned of dirty cups etc, but property was amazing and we really did have a wonderful stay.

Quinta dos Carvalhos is a beautiful place! It’s clean and has a lot of comfort items to make you feel at home. The environment was pleasant and welcoming. The property is beautifully landscaped, making it visually attractive. It’s like a peaceful heaven! There is a swimming pool, an outdoor and indoor dining area. The room was a dream, great size! there was a beautiful shower and a kitchenette. Spacious and clean! The staff was wonderful, Miss Tatiana was always very polite, caring and very helpful. We would definitely stay there again if in the area, and would strongly recommend it. :)

I was welcomed with a friendly glass of port wine. The property is beautiful and a step back in time. The hosts are friendly, accommodating, and beyond helpful, assisting with taxis, recommendations, and more! Peaceful and comfortable room and fabulous breakfasts. As I had to leave rather early on the final day, they gave me a bagged breakfast to go, completely unexpected! My only regret is that I didn't prebook for a dinner, something to look forward to next time.

The property is a historic home impeccably kept. The bedroom and bathroom were bigger than some modern apartments! The view over the valley was lovely as was the evening meal and beverages. All in all no complaints and I’ll be back.

It is really wonderful place with stunning views! The room was clean. The kitchen is fully equipped. The accommodation is even better than in the photos. The personal is very pleasant. Regular cleaning of the room and kitchen. WiFi is good. Big parking is in front of the building. Keep in mind that Google Navigator can build strange route through an impassable road, so we had to turn around and go along the correct road.
