The owner Francesca is a warm and loving host. She made delicious dinners for us on request. It is a new property with vineyards and olive trees around and conveniently located from major attractions, 10 mintes to San Gimignano, about an hour from Siena, and Pienza The rooms are neat and clean with a good view . Really felt at home.

This lovely hotel was a highlight of our 14 days in Italy. It and the grounds were gorgeous. The staff were helpful. The breakfast was plentiful. The shower and bathroom were huge. We loved walking in the vineyard. We didn't use the two pools but they were so pretty, as was the landscaping, View was spectacular. Such a gem. I had no idea when I booked how special this pace would be. There's a great private patio and even a chapel.

We stayed in the Ignite Apartment on the first floor (stairs only). It was a spacious one-bedroom apartment with views of the countryside and San Gimignano. It is a very old building with thick walls, keeping it cool although there is an airconditioning unit in the hallway between the living area and bedroom. The kitchen area was small with a fridge, small dishwasher and kettle. Instruction cards for the dishwasher and microwave were helpful. The elements for cooking were slow to heat up but did the job eventually. There was a table and chairs and a sofa. The bed was a kingsize and comfortable. Outside there were sunloungers and tables and chairs under the trees or in the sun. The pool was lovely. We did some washing using the machine in the reception building. It was E5 a load and there were plenty of drying racks at the side of the building to hang it on. We also did a wine tasting and bought some wine from the vineyard. You could walk up to San Gimignano if you don't mind a bit of a walk. We enjoyed our few days there as it was very relaxing.

The first booking was for 3 nights, after arriving we received a warm welcome from Maria (the owner) she handed us the key and the remote of the gate. We went inside and we were flabbergasted by the sheer amount of space this apartment provided for the price. Big kitchen, big living room and 2 large rooms with separate bathrooms. The house is decorated with classical furniture and breathes peacefulness and serenity. The garden is large and opposite of the apartment lives Maria with her family. The garden gives a nice view of the winery and hills in the distance. Everything was clean and nice, so nice that we extended our stay with 2 extra nights. Certaldo is a 12 min drive from the apartment and provides everything you need, good restaurants, and a big COOP supermarket. From Certaldo you can go to Siena and Florence by train, parking is free at the station. Do not hesitate to stay here it's a wonderful apartment in a beautiful place.

Very beautiful and spacious house, has everything you need. There is a beautiful place outside where you can have your coffee in peace and quiet. There are supermarket and restaurants a few kilometers away. If we come back to this area, we would stay there again. Thank you Maria Vittoria!
