Spacious grounds and buildings. Free parking on site. Has a pool which was great in this hot weather. Room was huge and comfortable and had its own outdoor space with seating. Close to the beach and restaurant. Railway station was close for access to Palermo. Staff offered to drop us off at railway station in Casteldaccia. Suggest don’t drive into Palermo!

”In the middle of nowhere”, but only 30 minutes or so from Palermo and with an amazing view from its high position, you find this small hotel, or B&B, that seemed to offer around 8 room in total, all on the first floor in an ancient house renovated around 10 years ago. Except the very old uneven stone floors, you find a modern accommodation with very large rooms and comfortable beds. The big infinity pool is perhaps the main attraction of this place. They also offer massages, but I did not try that. The owner Elena and her family will make sure you are well looked after.

With mountain views, Agriturismo Rajata is located in Bagheria and has a restaurant and a lift. The air-conditioned accommodation is 20 km from Fontana Pretoria.

It’s great value for that money. You get comfortable, big bedroom and private bathroom. Very clean. The temperature in the room was great for sleeping, although the temperatures outside were very high. The breakfast was nice. The place is very quiet and surrounded by lemon trees. I do recommend it. We stayed there 1 night, so for us it was great. + free parking
