The breakfast? Absolutely phenomenal. Fresh, beautifully prepared, and full of variety—easily one of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve ever had. It was the kind of meal you look forward to every morning. Everything we needed was included, and the staff made the whole experience feel effortless. The location was also spot-on—central, convenient, and surrounded by the character and charm of Edinburgh. This wasn’t just a place to stay—it was an experience we’ll remember. I’d go back in a second.

It is a 10-minute walk from the Scott Monument in Edinburgh’s most popular shopping area and financial district. We loved our room! Very spacious and big bathroom. Staff very friendly and great that we could get good cocktails to our room whilst getting ready for dinner.

The glamorous Rutland Hotel has stylish rooms, a luxurious late-lounge, and a unique restaurant with a glass wine cellar. It is situated on the West End of Princes Street, with views of Edinburgh Castle. Fantastic establishment: spacious, cosy, confortable and modern. Far exceeded my expectation. Staff was very friendly and helpful as well. I cannot recommend it enough and I look forward to visiting again.

Everything was lovely! the staff were great and super helpful! the room was clean and nicer than i expected from their images! i had great time staying there!

Plenty of room, good location for us as well as providing plenty of space for the 6 of us. Well equiped and clean. Parking was good also.
