Comfortable and clean room and the staff was really friendly and welcoming. This hotel and the village Saint Martin is a must if you are visiting Ile de Re. Strong recommendation!

This is a fabulous property and was a real treat at the end of our stay in La Courade. The property is perfectly located in that it is nicely tucked away behind a gated entrance on a quiet road but also minutes walking distance from the main streets of La Courade. There is a lovely spacious outdoor area and garden. The owner, Mélanie, was extremely helpful, communicative and very responsive to messages, and we really appreciated an earlier check-in.

The staff were exceptional, really helpful, informative and pleasant. We also loved the quietness of the surroundings, especially after the fort closes for the evening and we could walk around the ramparts alone and watch the sunset, very special. Our room was really big, lots of space. Modern facilities in a carefully renovated old Fort.
