The decor and layout were great and perfect for one person. There's AC, not fan, which is appreciated. Also, the grounds are lovely, very cultural and intimate. The owner Kim showed us around and gave a tour of the two-bedroom cottage and the area. It's Black owned (from an American woman), which I liked and wanted to support. I'm glad I did.

Built in 2019, the property is within 4.3 km of Jaguar Rescue Center. The air-conditioned rooms provide a garden view and come with a wardrobe and free WiFi. A perfect ending to a three week journey in Costa Rica. We slept at so many different places west side, south side, mountain area that was told to be beautiful like paradise, but most of them were noisy, lacking hot water, many ants, swimming pool not clean enough, neighbours too close, walls too thin, etc.etc... But this place is really the IT place. Spacious, totally silent, zero sound of running cars, neighbouring houses far away, so no sound of neighbours talking, beautifully clean swimming pool, no smell of mold, hot water, working mosquito nets, super clean apartment, comfy bed, amazingly equipped kitchen, sharp knives. Finally a place to rest, enjoy and sleep peacefully without earplugs and the windows wide open. This is really a 10/10 and whoever says otherwise really cannot be satisfied with anything in my view!
