The provided sourdough loaf is a tasty first breakfast, with a local cafe just across the road to finish the day’s first meal. The restaurant around the corner, overlooking the river, was great for a drink and nice dinner. Jeff, the owner was very helpful with local advice. The bed was comfy, and there was plenty of room for the two of us in our unit.

The house was more spacious than anticpated, with 2 bedrooms, living room, and a kitchen. The room is clean and comfy and the kitchen was very nice. We cooked some simple breakfast and late night meals. The house provides birdfeed and you can just pour some outside the patio and birds will fly over and have breadkfast with you. It's a short 5min drive to Metung city or 15min drive to Lake Entrance. Susanne was very helpful via messages and provide detailed instruction for checking-in.

The check in experience was easy, despite not needing to meet with anyone. There was a parking space helpfully allocated to our part of the property. The room was very homely and comfortable and had everything we needed. Would have happily stayed longer but we were just passing through. The host was also extremely friendly and very communicative.

Very pleasantly surprised, had not been to Paynesville for a very long time. Park was a great place to relax, all amenities very welcoming and clean. Cabin had everything that was needed for a short getaway. It was quiet most of the time, all very pleasant guests which were lovely to chat to.
