Beautifully cooked authentic Albanian food. Edmond was our guide for a day taking us hiking to waterfalls and gorges. We highly recommend this place to stay.

Featuring a terrace and views of mountain, Guest House Emily is a recently renovated guest house located in Gjirokastër, 44 km from Zaravina lake. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. The guest house features family rooms. This was our favorite place in our whole trip. After a long drive from Tirana, the view was absolutely breath-taking. The owner helped us park right away (easy parking in front of the building) and greeted us with fruit. The rooms are spotless and comfortable! The restaurant across the street was awesome and the breakfast was great, too! Only a few steps from the bazaar and a short hike to Ali Pasha Bridge. The view alone is worth the trip. We wished we could have stayed longer!

A big shout-out to Irina (I forgot the name)..but she was fantastic lady who made us feel home... We just loved our stay...

Really well-equipped, even included a washing machine! Really spacious as well! Communication with the hosts was easy and there is a parking space right in front of the building.

The location is close enough (by car) to Permet but gives you a wonderful feel of more rural Albania with great views and homemade products for breakfast, which were delicious! The room itself and the entire house were very nice, modern and well maintained. We would have liked to stay for much longer and would 100% recommend!
