From letting us arrive early, Lynette treated us like old friends popping in! The "cottage" in the garden was very clean and tastefully decorated, very quiet and felt secure despite the coal trucks sadly rumbling through the streets. We have found a little dream stop, and the breakfast and omelette could only be made in a home kitchen. Thank you, if in the area again would be our choice.

It’s a beautiful working farm with 9 guesthouses or rooms. So much tranquility, nice voices of nature. Good for a rest in peace. And also for children to explore the farm.

Checking in went very smooth, safe parking, a nice clean room, a great location, and an exceptionally good breakfast (also for our vegan family member). We felt very much at home here thanks to the exceptionally kind and welcoming staff: making this a memorable stay. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Piet Retief.
