I had an amazing time at Nguyet Que homestay ! It is a true hidden gem in the countryside, quite close to the city of Ben Tre. The place is soothing, the room comfortable with effective Wifi, the food is truly delicious... and the hosts are the warmest and most available you could ever expect ! I experienced cycling in peaceful surroundings and a memorable boat trip that takes you along the river and into the lively night market... If you wish to have a nice break from hectic HCMC, there can be no better choice !

You get to have a real local experience as not many tourists here The owner, Thai, was absolutely brilliant and helped make my stay extra special, as did his adorable children! I hired a moped which helped me explore that much further than the bikes but the bike rides were also good. I timed it perfectly for the flower markets. Stunning! All the locals were so friendly saying hello as I passed. Totally unexpected but I suppose a single red curly headed female stands out a little. From this experience I'd recommend a homestay.

a little slice of heaven not too far from HCMC… the host was perfect! 6 star service from Van Anh and Koah!!! they speak perfect English & French too~ The property is quite the hidden gem in lush greenery.. wverywhere is a photo spot, there’s a sunset pier lounge to enjoy the quaint accommodation 🤍we were greeted with coconuts on arrival, they made sure we find the location, sunset is magical and river tours are amazing, a must-do in Ben Tre, we love this place so much we decided to stay an extra night to enjoy the fantastic dinner Koah arranged for us - every night is a different set menu, the highlight was the little cooking class followed by the hot pot! My bf had a small bruise and the host prepared us a foot bath!! Definitely will come back!

The couple that runs this place is golden-- they are hardworking and sincerely nice. They do their best for you. Duc, the husband, and I talked about all of the havoc wreaked by the US on this land (I'm American), and consequently, his family, and despite it all he showed no ill will towards me or my country. He is interested in politics and can tell stories about the land, the history, etc. He also helped me organize my bus trip from Saigon. The bus station was small and easy to find. The bus had A/C and the driving was fine. There is a water filter system so no plastic bottles (AMAZING!). The bungalow is great-- the two beds were both perfectly supportive but not hard or soft. The sheets were excellent quality cotton (I'm a snob). There were creatures that you could hear at night on the roof, but not one tiny insect was inside my cabin. The bathroom smelled a little like mothballs, I assume to avert insects. Breakfast was varied-- eggs or soup on the two days I was there, plus fruit, coffee, tea, bread, or --for me-- something gluten free. The free bikes were great! Some were not in perfect condition, but there were so many, you could just take a different one. I took the 6 hour boat tour, which was interesting! We saw how rope was made from coconut and went to a coconut candy place, did some bike riding. In my opinion, there could have been more stops to break up the monotony of the boat ride, but what we saw was unique. Overall, excellent! I've stayed in many village type homestays, and there are always small issues. This one ranks high!

It is a very calm and peaceful place, surrounded by nature and right next to the river. You can use the kayak to navigate the river, the landscape is just amazing. Food was really good and the staff is very nice. Their coconut candies are amazing too. We had a very nice time in this hotel, I definitely recommend it.
