Absolutely exceptional stay! The location is positively gorgeous, with a fairytale forest and a lake fit for no-filter desktop backgrounds. We were there for three nights in early autumn and despite the rain had a fantastic time - we spent it in the sauna and it produced an amazing variety of mushrooms. The hosts thought of almost everything - especially the breakfast was fabulous and some of it was homemade! We also loved the hidden secrets sprinkled around the area...

Raben‘s Cottage is a very cosy place, you feel that initially it had not been meant for renting, but that people furnished and equipped it with great care for everyday life. We felt very much at home and enjoyed the sauna and sitting before the chimney. The owner is a very nice and helpful person.

Lovely house in a great location! There is a washing machine and dryer in the basement if you need to do your laundry. My personal highlight was the coated pan in the kitchen- the freshly caught fish was wonderful to fry in it. The WiFi didn't work but the owner informed us beforehand that it would be fixed soon.

The employee of the hotel was extraordinarily nice and helpful. I was quite a mess and she helped me so much even without knowing me. The place was clean, super cozy with a nice kitchen and living room, a massive big garden, a nice terrace and an own access to the lake in front of the house. I can definitely recommend this place. This is one of the best places in Sweden. The accommodation is very comfortable and leaves nothing to be desired in terms of amenities. The landlord is very friendly and helpful. There are restaurants and shops in the village Bengtsfors. Beautiful excursion destinations are nearby and easily accessible. The landlord also provides bicycles free of charge. A canal cruise on the Dalslands Canal, a trip to the Tresticklan National Park, or a visit to the Elk Park "Dalslands Moose Ranch" in Ed are particularly recommended. We have been here for the second time and will definitely come back.
