Casa Amihan is the most quiet and serene place, you can imagine. There are only few bungalows and it is very quiet thanks to that. It has the most beautiful private beach. You can have all your meals at the property and we suggest you get the filipino options, which were executed way better than western dishes.

We stayed 4 nights in a beach view cottage and 3 in the beach front cottage, so I will review each separately during this review We arrived after a long journey from the UK and a 2.5 hour drive from the ferry very tired, but we were greeted by such friendly staff, a fresh coconut juice and a cold flannel, so we instantly felt refreshed and and so welcome. The view as you walk through the restaurant to the pool area, with the white sand, blue sea and palm trees is just beautiful - feels like walking into paradise. Beng able to see amazing sunsets to the right of the beach and sunrise to the left, was incredible. Food was very tasty, there was good choice and it was very reasonable, considering you were in a resort. It is a small and intimate resort and rooms are large, clean with good shower and aircon. The wifi system works well in the room, restaurant & pool area. We stayed in a beach view room for the first 4 days as that was all that was available. They were absolutely fine and very similar in style to the beach front ones, just set back a bit further, so you can see the sea from outside, but not hear the waves and watch the view from inside the room. Beach front rooms weren’t available immediately, so we changed halfway through our stay - well worth it. These beach front rooms have full glass sliding doors so you have a full sea view even from inside the room and can hear the waves lapping on the sand. There are a few other things minor touches in the beach front rooms that aren’t in the ones further back, so if you can, it’s worth the extra money, we’ll, we thought so anyway. Anda as an area is very quiet and resort based, last orders in the restaurant is at 9pm, so if you’re looking for a party atmosphere, this isn’t the place, you’d be better off at Alona Beach in Panglao!! There is however a town, maybe 25/30 mins along the beach, that is very accessible and a tuktuk return is only php150 each way.

The drive from the airport to the resort is about two hours, but believe me it's worth it and then some. The view of the resort private beach is spectacular, the staff are extremely friendly and kind, and the food is the best i had in the Philippine. The owner, fred, is a gentleman, he sat with us to tell us about the place and asked if we needed anything. Best resort experience I've ever had, it was like visiting a friend I never knew I had.

What can we say? Sometimes it’s hard to find the right words. Our stay in Kim’s garden was simply amazing. The hosts are kind and smiling. The first night we arrived Kim brought us to his wife’s restaurant and we could taste amazing food. They rented us a motorbike and borrowed us snorkelling masks and fins. We saw 8 turtles in just an hour swimming just few metres from Kim’s house. His wife cooked us amazing breakfasts every morning at eight and waited for us when we were a little bit late. The house was very clean and we could sleep under the rain with the sounds of wild animals. You can have a hot shower and refill your bottle whenever you want with good water. The owners have a lot of cute dogs they really love. They are good dogs, so they will not hurt you but just cuddle you. They also booked for us a car to take us to chocolate hills before the departure. This is a place you will love if you love nature. You will live in a little jungle paradise in Anda, far from the mass tourism. You will have your own access to the ocean. What else? Just try it if you want to really enjoy your stay in Bohol. Iniitially, there was a mistake with the booking, and we were taken to a smaller, more basic room than what I had booked. However the owner was very apologetic and kindly allowed us to stay in one of his houses instead. We were given access to a large two storey house by the main road. I was impressed by this generous response to a booking issue. Thank you Fernando, Adela and Felix, for helping make our stay so comfortable.

Really nice Garden to relax! The staff is superfriendly and welcoming. You can go snorkeling and Diving directly at the Resort. We had a beautiful Dive there and saw some turtles and nudibranches! There is not much around, so you need a motorbike, but you can rent it there, so it is fine.

Little secluded tropical paradise. People are mostly experienced divers, and this is being handled very professionally. Additional cost (food, drinks, laundry...) was surprisingly affordable. The showed immense flexibility with my specific wishes and circumstances.

Extraordinary place. My favourite place in the Philippines. From cleaners to management, staff is incredibly helpful, friendly, and accommodating. We absolutely loved it, incredible views with a lovely swimming pool, a nice beach, and great snorcheling just of the beach. You can spot red sea urchin, nemo, and more. And geat food too! Thank you!!!! We will be back and tell everyone about your place! Veronika & Family

We were there for a week in June it felt like we had the place to ourselves most of the time Right on the beautiful white sandy beach. Nice to sit and watch the locals go out fishing each day in their boats. The staff were the friendliest we came across in our month in the Philippines When we left was sad the Anda White family

Very accommodating staff. It feels like you're staying with family. It peaceful and quite which is very good if you're looking for a place to just relax and recharge. The beach is clean with powdery white sand. The infinity pool is great. The palm trees really added the tropical feel of the resort. And the food was delicious! My family loved it. Would definitely come back and recommend!

We are a South Indian family and found to the food in Philippines to be not to our taste except in J&R. Even my 3 year old kid enjoyed the food and being fed watching the waves. The food was excellent and the beach was gorgeous. Only had the opportunity to stay for 1 day, but I wish we had stayed longer. My wife had a massage and pedicure which she was very happy about.

Breakfast was simple but good. They had easily available cold and hot water. The pool was lovely. It is 5 min to the beach but you save a lot of money versus a beach front location. A family owns and runs it and they are all super friendly and helpful. They had life jackets for the kids, pool only. AC was excellent. Great value. I went once with a family group and once solo. Loved it both times

Our family group of six, including two teenagers, stayed a week in the resort. We greatly enjoyed the warm attitude of the staff, who were very efficient in providing comprehensive information on potential points and activities of interest, and the necessary transportation. The food was excellent, and the kitchen provided flexibly the special dietary needs for our group. The rooms, swimming pool area and the general environment were well maintained. The beach was tidy and suitable for swimming. We warmly recommend this resort.
