Absolutely everything, perfect stay. The lodge is absolutely beautiful - 10/10. We stayed at the Hilton and Sofitel while on the island but this lodge scored the highest for us on great value and friendly stay. Things we liked - • comfy bed • great, large balcony with nice chairs • well equipped, clean kitchen and bathroom • extremely clean • FREE pick up and drop off from port - which is very expensive in French Polynesia • most friendly, kind and helpful owners • idyllic garden • lovely owners with help you organise tours, trips and things to do on the island • great location on the island - minutes walk from great restaurants, fantastic bakery, bank, supermarket, pharmacy and beach cafes • could easily stay here days / weeks!

We had a great stay at Tema’e Beach House and highly recommend it for anyone looking for a relaxed accommodation with the opportunity to meet wonderful people from around the world. The owner, Nick, was always helpful and offered great suggestions and tips for our time in Moorea. The shared bathroom and kitchen with other guests were always incredibly clean, and everyone was respectful of the communal spaces. The location is ideal, with Tema’e Beach just a short walk away. However, I would also recommend renting a car to explore the island fully (I suggest Coco Rider for great prices on electric cars). There are also several additional services available at the house for a very reasonable cost, including laundry, snorkeling equipment rental, and transfers to and from the ferry terminal. Beautiful property. Individual rooms (4 in total) with private bathrooms in each. Common areas include the separate kitchen, pool and outdoor seating area. AC worked great, they placed baguettes every morning with butter and jam, the pool was kept clean and the hosts were outstanding. A car is highly recommended to get around the island.

Wow! Maison Orange exceeded all my expectations. It was spacious, clean, I could use the washing machine, there is a big kitchen to use, the room has a great size,… huge terrace - the location is perfect - very close to beach by the hotel Tipaniers where you can rent a kayak, go scuba diving, take excursions,… If I come back (which I am already planning to) - I will definitely stay here again!

This is a very small (5 bungalows as far I know) hotel and ours was just beautiful. The entire place is very tastefully decorated (mixture of local and European styles) and just the thing of you adore beautiful surroundings. There is a large deck right over the lagoon with more than enough sunbeds, tables for all the guests (no fighting over the best sunbeds necessary). The shallow reef is wonderful for snorkelling, with corals and fish right there. In the evening, sharks and stingrays swim by. There are also kayaks and snorkelling gear for rent - a popular stingray spot is not far away. The location is beautiful and the deck means boat excursions can drop you off or pick you up right there. There is one well-stocked general store nearby and nice restaurants doing delivery. Staff was amazing, too! And the wifi was about the fastest in all the islands.

This was our first stay on Moorea. We were in awe when we walked in. It was difficult to find at first, but once there, we traveled the island on scooter and found our way easily. The view was spectacular, with sunrise from the bed or balcony each morning. Private beach not really good for snorkeling, but easy to get to Temae beach. We did not get breakfast as did some other reviewers, but that was not a problem. The bed was comfortable and the outdoor bathroom was perfect! Frederique was friendly. Eat at Motu Grill next door. It is fantastic!

The friendly and helpful hosts and the location of our stay was most memorable. Our place is located high up in the hill overlooking the views of the beach front and ocean. We will definitely come back and stay here again. Highly recommend this place to anyone coming to Moorea.
