Monkey lodge is a real gem - the family who run it are wonderful, and the food was wonderful. The setting is incredible. They organised transfers for us, and we paid extra for a boat tour where we got to hand feed monkeys - a once in a lifetime experience.

This place has spacious rooms with nice terrace and amazing view on the lake. Place is very well maintained and clean. There is a relaxed atmosphere without any kind of hard rules, pool is so warm!! The food is very nice. Manager is a fantastic guy, funny and always helpful.

This is one of the best and most exotic places I've ever encountered in the vicinity of a large city. Greg's house is located at the edge of the urban area, within an exclusive suburb - originally built for U.S. army /air force officers and their families. The area has probably the best basic infrastructure, utilities, drinking water etc. within Panama. In the meantime, there are large swaths of intact tropical forests around the place which are full of wildlife! From hummingbirds to lizards, or from monkeys to caymans - you have the opportunity to observe everything and feel yourself within a nature documentary. In order to get this experience, all you need to do is to sit down at the breakfast table and enjoying your meal as well as observing the surroundings. Greg is an awesome host, who never stops showing genuine care towards his guests. A really unforgettable experience. Thank you very much!

The room was super clean fresh and tidy. The staff was truly interested in making our stay pleasant. Swming pool and gym to high standards. Lobby and room corridors with fluffy carpets, good lighting and room to move. Breakfast is nice with fresh produce fruits eggs and Panamanian delicacies. Front desk is super helpful and willing to improve your stay. All in all a great stay that has created good memories. I’ll be back!
