Great location, service, food, transport to camp. This is how you do the business! Owner and other employees were kind, helpful and told us about omani culture and history. Tents were really comfy, bedsheets clean and the second smaller tent with bathroom was as well really well equipped. If you love the great outdoors you will love it here! Such a laid-back and relaxing camp to be in. It’s small; not too many tents and not many lights and is so quiet. Said is a friendly, warm and helpful host. Nothing is too much trouble for him! He comes from a family of Bedouins and still lives in the desert himself so you know you are getting an authentic experience. The food was delicious, the beds were comfortable and transport to and from the meeting point was FREE, which is awesome because we didn’t have a 4x4 to get there. We really loved our stay at SandGlass Camp.

This desert camp is set in a stunning location — truly a magical spot. Dinner was delicious, and breakfast was just right. We drove to the camp ourselves with a 4x4; it was easy, just remember to lower your tire pressure. The manager was incredibly kind and helpful. Two nights turned out to be a bit much for our young kids due to the heat, but the staff really helped us think of solutions, which we appreciated a lot. Don’t miss the sunset tour you can book upon arrival — it was hands down the most unforgettable moment of our entire trip!

Everything was perfect. The staff worked hard to make your stay perfect. The camp is located far from the city in the heart of the desert. The rooms were clean and tidy to a high standard. Dinner and breakfast were very plentiful and delicious. In the morning, Khalid took us on a tour to explore Bedouin life and traditional living up close. It is worth the visit. We hope to return again.
