The location is perfect, just few minutes walking from Mayadevi temple. Around you have shops and restaurant, but you can eat in the hotel, the food is delicious. The staff is very friendly and gentle, you can feel at home. The owners helped me to find the right bus and took my baggage after my check out, while I was visiting the monasteries and the temples. The room was comfortable and clean, you have fun and AC as well.

I like the family atmosphere at the hotel. Plus the location is excellent. I enjoy the sunrise from my room vantage view. A hotel to stay when in Lumbini. 🙏🙏🙏🇳🇵

Very close to gate 5. Quiet rooms with fans on the top. The family that manages the structure is nice and friendly.

The best option to stay in Lumbini! Close to the centre of everything - to main entrance, to old village, to Gate number five and Maya Davi Temple. I am very pleased and satisfied by my stay! Sweet family running business! Very polite and helpful stuff! Nice and clean hotel restaurant! Extremely good value for the money! When you’re Lumbini I suggest to stay only in this hotel!

Hotel Tanthak stands in a dry, hot and dusty open field. About the only good thing is it's located near the Maya Devi Temple and not much else. The price of the room wasn't too bad. Don't get the room with a fan. You will suffocate. You'll have to fight off a crowd of beggars to get anywhere near the Temple, a swarm of poor, uneducated kids whose lives have been ruined by lack of funding for schools and basic necessities thanks to all the money wasted on this misguided UNESCO site.
