The camp is beautifully laid out and positioned right next to the sand dunes for easy access to see the sunset and sunrise; both a must do experience. The facilities are all super; the camp uses solar power so there’s electricity in every tent and an en suite with a fantastic hot water shower. The staff were super friendly and attentive and we loved spending time with them in the evening by the camp fire playing music, chatting with them other guests and looking at the amazing night sky. it was easy to book activities or to just grab a sand board and give that a go! We stayed for 2 nights and did a private tour of the desert which was fab, as well as a camel ride to watch the sunset. We were also happy that there weren’t other camps close by - we could enjoy watching the sun rise in a private setting. Thank you for the staff for going the extra mile to make our engagement in the desert extra special!

We came to Merzouga for an overnight stay at a desert camp and added this stop for an extra night beforehand—which turned out to be perfect for a little rest in the middle of our road trip. There’s free parking, and we were able to park our car right in front of our room entrance, which was super convenient. The property is within walking distance of the dunes, and there’s a small supermarket about 4 minutes away by car. We really enjoyed lounging by the pool. The water was quite cold (we visited in late April), but with the heat outside, it was actually perfect for cooling off. We loved our room—it looked just like in the photos. It was very clean and comfortable, with a cozy bed, a mirror, and hangers for clothes. Even though it was hot outside, the room stayed pleasantly cool. We booked dinner for 130 DH (around 13€) per person), and both dinner and breakfast were really good. The staff were incredibly friendly and kind—we were even allowed to stay in the pool area after checkout, which we really appreciated. You could easily stay even 2 nights or more if you’re looking to unwind—this place is truly a gem.

What I’ll remember most is the feeling of calm that settled in right away. After days of moving around, it felt good to slow down in a space that was so thoughtfully organised. The evening was a highlight — music around the fire under the open sky. The tent was tidy and comfortable, with a proper bed and private bathroom. The food was full of delicious and the service was warm. A peaceful, well-run experience.

My time at Merzouga Sahara Nights Camp was an experience I’ll always cherish, especially with our incredible guide, Mohamed. The camel trek through the towering dunes at sunset was absolutely mesmerizing, and sleeping beneath the vast desert sky was nothing short of magical.
