My stay at the Iguana Azul was simply wonderful! If you are looking for a place to relax, quiet, with breathtaking views and extremely kind staff, Iguana is everything you could want to spend extremely happy days in Chefchaouen. Starting with the location, which when you arrive in the vicinity of the Medina you will walk about 5 minutes to reach the accommodation. It is located inside the medina, close to all points of interest, picturesque streets, restaurants, cafes. Speaking of coffee, you will have a transcendental experience when you have breakfast beautifully organized by the iguana staff. In addition to being delicious and filling, the view is stunning, to the mountains. I loved to spend at least two hours of my day there relaxing. There is also, on the floor above, a decorated Rooftop, where you will have a panoramic view of the blue city 🫂 The employees are there to help with everything necessary, such as visiting tips, buying tickets, recommending restaurants and whatever else is necessary. Everything was really good. We had a room with a balcony with an amazing view to the city.. Mohamed gave us a little tour of the city because we had some issues with kids surrounding our car and being aggressive because they thought we were taking pictures of them and also right at the parking lot we saw a motorcycle accident with people fighting and blood all over their faces. This was not the Dar fault and Mohamed was so great by reassuring us and guide us through the city center.

First time we stayed in Princess Ilham was in 2018 when just opened. Got here for the second time, a had the same room. Suite in 1st floor, 2 bedrooms, and balcony with amazing view to blue city of Chefchaouen. Breakfast was served till 11am on the terrace, and it was very large breakfast and very tasty. There is a possibility to make a dinner of your choice also in the hotel. Otherwise outside you can grab some food or drinks from small shop nearby. Meeting with the owner make this experience more personal, and warm. I can definitely recommend this hotel!

Samir’s communication was great! He was very helpful throughout the stay. We made a mistake and forgot our keys inside, and he got us help immediately despite not being in Chefchaouen himself. The house is great on its own too. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the old town.

Cute, rustic place and the staff were all amazing. They made the stay great, from the delicious breakfasts cooked and served on the terrace by the 2 super kind Fatimas to the guys in the reception who were always friendly and helpful: Mohammed, Lotfi and the guys from the ‘Herbario’ next door.

Our stay at this boutique hotel in Chefchaouen was a wonderful experience. The meticulously decorated interiors created a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The terrace offered stunning views of the mountains and the medina's blue rooftops, perfect for relaxing. Breakfast was delicious, with a good variety of fresh, local products. The rooms were comfortable and well-kept. The staff and owner were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making our stay very enjoyable. Highly recommended! 10/10!
