My stay at the Iguana Azul was simply wonderful! If you are looking for a place to relax, quiet, with breathtaking views and extremely kind staff, Iguana is everything you could want to spend extremely happy days in Chefchaouen. Starting with the location, which when you arrive in the vicinity of the Medina you will walk about 5 minutes to reach the accommodation. It is located inside the medina, close to all points of interest, picturesque streets, restaurants, cafes. Speaking of coffee, you will have a transcendental experience when you have breakfast beautifully organized by the iguana staff. In addition to being delicious and filling, the view is stunning, to the mountains. I loved to spend at least two hours of my day there relaxing. There is also, on the floor above, a decorated Rooftop, where you will have a panoramic view of the blue city 🫂 The employees are there to help with everything necessary, such as visiting tips, buying tickets, recommending restaurants and whatever else is necessary. What an amazing experience. The Host is exceptional. The best view and a good walk to the city. I can’t express enough how incredible the host was. The service was at a whole new level, willing to assist with anything you need. We ended up cancelling tours in the city to rather stay at the property as the food was absolutely delicious and made with such love. I would highly recommend to select this property for your next stay. Best part of our Moroccan Trip.

Everything was really good. We had a room with a balcony with an amazing view to the city.. Mohamed gave us a little tour of the city because we had some issues with kids surrounding our car and being aggressive because they thought we were taking pictures of them and also right at the parking lot we saw a motorcycle accident with people fighting and blood all over their faces. This was not the Dar fault and Mohamed was so great by reassuring us and guide us through the city center.

First time we stayed in Princess Ilham was in 2018 when just opened. Got here for the second time, a had the same room. Suite in 1st floor, 2 bedrooms, and balcony with amazing view to blue city of Chefchaouen. Breakfast was served till 11am on the terrace, and it was very large breakfast and very tasty. There is a possibility to make a dinner of your choice also in the hotel. Otherwise outside you can grab some food or drinks from small shop nearby. Meeting with the owner make this experience more personal, and warm. I can definitely recommend this hotel!
