This was truly a special and unforgettable stay. The place is simple yet absolutely stunning – a beautiful structure immersed in greenery, with breathtaking views over the mountains. A real hidden gem where nature and peace surround you completely. The owner is a wonderful person, incredibly kind and welcoming. He’s also a wildlife photography enthusiast – and truly talented! I honestly believe he should publish his work – his shots are amazing. Dinner was delicious and beautifully prepared, and the whole team was so kind and thoughtful. They even waited for us until late, as my girlfriend wasn’t feeling well, just so we could still enjoy our meal when she felt better. That kind of care is rare to find. A magical place with beautiful people. We left with full hearts (and full bellies!). Highly, highly recommended.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful, nature-surrounded retreat and honestly, I wish I could have stayed longer. The entire experience was incredibly calming — nestled in the heart of nature, the serenity of the surroundings was just what we needed to unwind. What truly stood out, though, was the staff. Sydney, the General Manager, Kasun the Butler, the Chef and the entire team went above and beyond to accommodate my partner’s dietary restrictions, ensuring every meal was safe, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared. The food was outstanding, fresh, and full of flavour, easily some of the best we’ve had while travelling. Their attention to detail and genuine care made us feel incredibly supported and welcomed. We had a lovely stay at Jay’s. He is a great host and his sister is an excellent chef. They made us a great dinner and breakfast with vegetables from their own garden. We often read ‘the best curry’ in many reviews, but I can truly say that this where the best meals we had during our trip in Sri Lanka (and we had many good meals).

The spiritual nature farm is a very warm and familiar place. (This is not a classic accommodation and is therefore exactly the right place for people looking for authenticity) I gained great experiences here and learned a lot about life and nature in Sri Lanka. there is a lot to improve.
