Excellent hotel Located in nature But still everything is very clean and tidy. The rooms are beautiful, clean, loud, excellent air conditioning. The pool is really good, located in nature And feels like a spring. The food is excellent. The staff is really good. We stayed in 3 hotels in the city and this is the best hotel by far. A great place for children. Highly recommended for those who want to be in a beautiful place in nature and close to all the historical sites. We had a great experience, highly recommend.

Amazing place. Great service, the family is so kind and really does everything to make your stay the best it could be. They helped me with arranging a reliable and friendly driver to get from the airport to the guest house, and we stopped multiple times so I could try local fruits, so sweet. The son of the household showed me around Mihintale, and the parents provided a lovely meal every morning and evening at my requested time - absolutely amazing food that will keep you going for days haha! The room was very nice and clean. I was looking for something a bit more fancy, and definitely got what I was looking for and for a great price. Super comfortable bed and pillows, soft sheets and a nice bathroom. Environment is super calm and great if you're looking for some peace and quiet. Peacocks, chameleons and beautiful butterflies all around, you can spot everything from the comfort of your breakfast table. Honestly couldn't think of any improvements!

Janaka is THE host—truly exceptional in the hospitality scene in Sri Lanka. He is incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel completely at home, while also being highly professional and attentive to all our needs. He went out of his way to help us plan our days in Mihintale exactly as we wished—and what he managed to organize for us was no small feat! He was also genuinely concerned for our safety throughout our stay: while Sri Lanka is a very safe country, his attentiveness was still much appreciated. The food cooked by his wife was amazing—made with quality ingredients, prepared beautifully, and full of bold, authentic flavor. Easily one of the top three meals we had in Sri Lanka. If you're planning a trip to Anuradhapura or Mihintale to explore the sacred Buddhist sites, and you're looking for something authentic and off the tourist trail, stay in Mihintale. We were received very kindly. Very clean, Very tasty food. Wimal's car took us to show the beautiful places. Wimal took us to see Wilpattu national park. Reasonable prices. Accommodation was arranged for one day and we stayed for three days. I highly recommend this accommodation.
