The entire experience was wholesome! It is soo well equipped with excellently furnished cottages that gave such a cozy vibe. Mike, the caretaker was exceptional in his hospitality and kind personality. Definitely coming again. And again. Worth every penny. Highly recommend.

Grounds are magnificent with plenty of activities at the hotel and close proximity to amazing safaris. Rolling hills with the stunning Mount Kenya in the background combined with roaming wildlife and activities make the hotel worth staying at for at least part of the trip rather than spending all day at safaris.

Mukima is a sanctuary. From the beginning till the end the house and surroundings felt like a warm blanket. The house is absolutely stunning, even better than on the pictures. The garden and land around is too good to describe. If I could play the sound of the birds, the subtle breeze through the trees and show the colours of the birds but it has to be experienced. The food is AMAZING!!! So fresh, so simple yet surprising… the food I wish I made for myself every day. The massages were mind-blowing. I slept like a rock each night. My fav things are the soul and love you feel in everything and everyone, the old charm of the house, the refreshing pool and the view on Mount Kenya and on the lake. I recommend going to Ol Pejeta on safari for a day and doing yoga and meditation at sunrise! I go home feeling refreshed from head to toe and body to soul.

Very large cottage, lots of wooden furniture. Location a bit hard to reach but worth it - very quiet, calm place in the nature. Big nice garden. Great personell. We initially wanted to do things in Nanyuki but ended up just relaxing in the cottage.

    This was one of the best Airbnb experiences we had. It's a very nice and clean property. Very well-equipped kitchen with all the amenities around. The view of Mount Kenya made it even more special. The property has 2 very well-behaved pet dogs and our family had a great time with them. The entry from the Timau Mall is a little tricky but the host had guided with the local map in prior. The road is rough for around 9 km until the main location. Gives you a little adventure :) Loved the stay and will recommend this property!

    The property is as described in the website. The magical view of Mount Kenya while having breakfast is to die for. Also loved having sundowners on the hill. The host was very supportive and always oncall incase of everything. Simon the groundsman was very welcoming and really entertained us by giving us the history of the area. The chef did a fantastic job with the meals. Defeinitely coming back and would highly recommend.
