Li was a very friendly host. She took time to welcome us and explain everything about the property. The place was extremely comfortable (all new) and made us feel at home immediately. We recommend staying and would enjoy to come back. The location is great to take a walk by the river and go skiing in winter.

The room is cozy and the onsen is very nice. Most importantly, all staff were helpful especially when I lost my car key. They arranged a car to pick me back and on the next day, took me to find it. Luckily, it was found and I was so blessed to choose this ryokan. Highly recommended!

There are so many snow resorts nearby, it is very comfortable for relaxing in the hotel ‘s onsen, and then have a taste of the local food of the hotel after skiing. It is especially worth mentioning that the staff of the hotel is particularly enthusiastic, offering to provide shuttle services to the nearby station, snow resorts…When we need to go shopping, they also warmly send us to there. When we left, the staff gave my child two bathrobes.

The owners were extremely kind and accommodating, and very knowledgeable about caring for dogs. The room was spacious and the grounds were perfect for someone traveling with a dog. It is right down the road from Yuzawa so you're near all of the most popular ski attractions.

Came here for family winter snow experience. The area is a bit isolated, so its not too crowded. Better to have a vehicle for easy access to amenities and dining. Host is very helpful and can speak basic english.
