The house is located in the middle of a large garden with numerous trees / plants and a big swimming pool. The swimming pool area is pleasant and relaxing. It’s 45 minutes from Catania and 15 minutes from Taormina by car. The place is very quiet and relaxing in the countryside. We had some issue due to the hot weather and Pietro was very swift and helpful to resolve it. The house looks more charming in real than on the pictures, and is well equipped for cooking. The owner and her daughter (who gave us some ideas of where to visit - big thanks!) Where very friendly. The bedrooms had great A/C, sheets and towels changed every day. Good.firm beds and pillows.Very clean. Breakfast was fresh and different most days. The pool and area was perfect to chill after a long day up Mt.Etna. The view of Etna from breakfast and the sitting area was amazing. It is conveniently near the main road but very peaceful. The breakfast itself is delicious with eggs for their own chickens and fruit from their own orchard,, and wonderful home made cake.
