We absolutely loved Borgo Petroro for many reasons - it's fabulous location in the middle of the beautiful, quiet Umbrian countryside, it's amazing historical and clean visual appeal, the relaxing garden and other lovely areas to sit, the bikes to hire for a wonderful safe ride with amazing views, the great breakfast with plenty of variety, the castle cat, our enormous suite, the most enjoyable evening meals and the very attentive, friendly restaurant manager Mansour!!

Superb 1 week stay in this beautiful apartment with breathtaking views over the Umbrian hills. Very nice, clean pool - larger in reality than it seemed on the pictures & almost private (just shared with 1 apartment). We slept very well: beds are very good & despite the heat outside (between 35 & 40° all week long), it remained quite fresh inside (windows open at night). The house is very clean, very spacious & with all the equipment we needed. Very friendly people! Parking under the olive trees so the car remained quite fresh

Miataland is a great place to stay, specially if you're MX-5 lover! The owner has the biggest collection of MX-5s in the world and has great stories connected to each car.
