Summertime in Sicily, leaving the cities in need of some air and a view to the horizon, we needed a place to relax. The domain of Masseria was really perfect for this. Already the roads passing through vineyards, almonds and olive groves was only topped by the warm welcome from Julia and Marco. Do I have to mention the Prosecco welcome drink or the refreshing white wine from the domain? While receiving the necessary explanations , you cannot hinder benefiting from the fantastic view down the valley to the sea. The rooms and the decorations are done with good taste and harmony in colours and furniture , equipped with A/C and wifi. Then , just a pause on the quality sunbeds before a dip in the pool. The question aroused where to eat and here The Masseria offers a fine italian dinner, lunch and breakfast, as well as the possibility of extra wishes. The herbal garden, in a country look , is fantastic, beware of the hot peppers ! And of course, we had our questions concerning sightseeing places (Greek temples in Selinunte is a must) and Marco gave us all pieces of advice. While writing this review , I still see the smooth countryside in front of me and the soft touch of the warm wind on my skin and really missing it. This is a place we will not forget. One recomendation for all potential visitors, do not hesitate to ask for their domains own olive oil, it is worth while. Go for it.

Villa Giadel is the most beautiful place we stayed in Sicily. Everything is perfect down to the last detail. The room is large, comfortable and very clean. The breakfast is varied and very tasty.
