What a charming place with the most delightful staff who were so kind and welcoming! The rooms were clean and comfortable. It is set in a lovely position with great views. The breakfast was good and the coffee excellent. Highly recommend!

I usually don't write any reviews about the places I stay at, but this one at Casa Philomena was exceptional! Rarely have I experienced such warm hospitality, kind-hearted hosts or passion to make a guest feel welcome. I nearly wasn't able to go to Lioni, so my lovely host offered to pick me up from the bus station in Avellino for a little fare and even cooked a home-made pasta lunch with regional products for me <3 Afterwards, we ventured out for a little trip to the local waterfall. The house/upper floor itself is amazing, cute and exactly what I expected from a well-kept place in charming Irpinia. Thank you, Ms Filomena & Mr Gustavo, for everything and giving me the best and most fantastic Lionese experience thinkable!

Le Caselle is a great place to relax, just a short drive from Nusco, a charming mountain village in Avellino. The house is cozy with a fireplace, and the big garden is perfect for enjoying the outdoors. There’s also a BBQ area, making it great for family meals or gatherings. We had a wonderful time meeting old friends there. The host was very nice and gave us a warm welcome, which made our stay even better. Nusco also has a great butcher, perfect for picking up fresh meats to grill on the BBQ. It’s a peaceful spot, close to nature and a great base for exploring the area. Highly recommend it for a relaxing getaway!

Really friendly welcome from our host. Nice rooms. Great evening meal in the restaurant. Host supports cyclists and provided help above and beyond call of duty. Saved our tour by helping out with his son. Couldn't recommend highly enough!

Family run, great location, easily walkable into the center of town. A lot of personal attention and extremely helpful. A big plus was that they have a restaurant in the hotel and it was very good. The father and son team running the establishment could not have been more personable and dad is an excellent cook. We had a very pleasant stay there.

Well that’s a great questions I would have to say the only positive point about this property was the well kept garden, the rest is for sure about 40 years too old and in need of up keeping unless you like to pay high prices for and absolute ridiculous place. I believe in Karma so nothing more to say!

A fabulous stay in a beautiful crisp, clean and thoughtfully designed agriturismo. Sometimes, agriturismo can be quite basic but this one is well thought out. Surprisingly, the weather in August was hot in the daytime but nicely fresh in the mornings and evening. We didn’t even need the aircon. The pool was a wonderful space to relax around - beautiful water and framed by olive groves and a newly laid tennis court. Breakfast was delicious and our sleep was very comfortable. There were plenty of brilliant recommendations for places to eat very close by too. The highlight was a tour of the winery. Thank you for a genuine and warm welcome and a lovely stay! We are very much looking forward to drinking the exceptional wines we’ve taken away too! This place is very well geared for families of all ages and couples too. It’s well worth booking.
