Frederica and Giorgio were marvellous hosts. Frederica met us with her motor scooter at the gate of Duino Castle to show us the way to Porto del Bivio. After we had arrived and settled in, she gave us a refreshing aperitif to enjoy in the shady garden. She suggested an excellent trattoria for our evening meal. Our room was large, spotlessly clean, air conditioned, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was delicious, and Giorgio made us scrumptious scrambled eggs. Highly recommend Porto del Biblio.

Overlooking Duino Castle, Villa Rilke is in Duino centre on the Adriatic Coast. It is surrounded by a large park with swimming pool, children's playground and BBQ.

We liked everything about it. It's very comfortable, clean, spacious rooms, and the location is close to many beautiful places to sightsee. The Espresso maschine was my personal highlight. Alex was very kind and helpful.
