AustriaFrom the main road, it's a short drive to the guesthose. We had a nicely furnished room with a kitchen area and a small dining table. Everything was very clean.
The hosts are friendly and helpful! We had only one night and enjoyed it.

Hong KongThe stay absolutely exceeded our expectations. We booked a cabin for a one-night stay after our long road trip from the northern region. The staff was exceptionally friendly; she even introduced us to the charming small town and the information about the stores and restaurants that are still open for business during winter. If you prefer cooking, there is a well-equipped kitchen and a lovely greenhouse available for shared use.
Some comments mentioned that the room was too small. While it is true, it was more than enough for just sleeping. The beds (and the pillows) were the most comfortable ones we had during our 16-day trip in Iceland.
We would absolutely recommend this place to others who are planning to visit the Westfjords and are looking for a convenient stop on the way to the west side.
Oh - and the kind staff even remind us to go out to catch the stunning northern light! :D

The guesthouse and rooms are absolutely stunning - feels like a traditional B&B, and you can see family and local history throughout the house too. The location is quiet and peaceful, but still only 10-15min drive to shops, supermarkets, etc. Since it was the off-season, there were no other guests during my stay, so I had the entire guesthouse to myself. It has been renovated and finished in 2011. The living room is furnished with historic charm, with a great view over the property, and a porch. We had most of the guesthouse to ourselves in March and stayed in a nice spacious room on the ground floor with a desk, which was quite the luxury!
