Communication with the host was excellent - we knew exactly how to get our key and check in. Loved the fact that there was a washer and dryer! Lots of amenities in the kitchen so we could make our own food, and two large areas to sit and eat. The couch and chairs in the sitting area were very comfortable. Room was good, and bathrooms were clean. Highly recommend!

Largest bathroom out of 7 accommodations we booked in Iceland! We were so impressed by the home decor and how Cosy it was. A nice touch of icelandic tradition everywhere you look. Breakfast was basic but just enough. Staff was very accommodating. Location was perfect for us to drive to jokulsarlon during the night to go watch the aurora. I really recommend this place. Parking just outside (for free) even the towels were embroider with their emblem (I’m a sucker for the little details) the common area is so beautiful too!

The room was spacious with large windows to the glacier. It was really quiet, and the beds were comfortable. Two extra pillows were offered. The staff was nice and welcoming and the breakfast was excellent!! Really good value for money.

hile we didn’t see any auroras during our stay, we thoroughly enjoyed the stunning views from the cabin. The space was neat, clean, and well-maintained, with a spotless kitchen and bathroom. Despite the very windy weather outside, the cabin stayed toasty and warm, making it a cozy retreat. Highly recommend!
