The location is very far away from civilization, which makes it very reserved if you wish to stay in solitude. People working there are very nice, especially the Romanian bartender, very professional and mannered!

The house had it all and in addition all extras in the kitchen you could wish from rental house. The house was in immaculate order. We enjoyed hot tub and large and comfy living room. We visited cottage in low season , so the price was reasonable. The host was very friendly. I loved the Kamburinn cottage and definitely would recommend to visit.

A very beautiful interior. Amazing surroundings between mountains and next to a lake. Much attention was paid to small details and aesthetics. Resembled to a small temple.

Really spectacular setting and really friendly staff. The food was also great - one of the best we had in Iceland. We typically don't choose a tasting menu, but we did on our first night here and were very happy that we did. The pool and sauna area was fun and the hikes around the hotel really cool.
