We had a free upgrade to the near Hotel Geysir. It was really good staying, big rooms, good restaurant, really near to the Geysir area, and the alert service for the Northern Lights were great. Really kind staff. I really suggest this hotel.

The location is amazing, mountains all around. The windowview was incredible! Lots of amazing sightseeing nearby, including the brúarfoss waterfall that is only a 5 to 10 minute drive. The food and ice-cream from their own cows was also so so good! The first day I had the best sirloin steak I ever had! Not to mention the room which was so beautiful and cosy with all the wood :)

Greenhouse Golden Circle Villa is a recently renovated apartment in Reykholt, where guests can make the most of its garden and shared lounge. The air-conditioned accommodation is 19 km from Geysir.
