This is a special property that gives a feel of a bygone era. The rooms, my bedroom and public rooms all are done in "traditional" classic style and done with great attention to detail. And the grounds sitting out on the lawn sipping tea and looking out over the green mountains is so relaxing. I loved this property and would absolutely return again. The manager Manooch (spelling?) was hands on very personable making sure I was happy with all.

We had a wonderful stay at Sinclairs Retreat Kalimpong during our 01 night stay here. We booked this heritage property via booking.com and checked in to very friendly and pleasant staff at check in counter. Mr. Swastik Pradhan greeted us at the reception. He and his colleague upgraded us to Family room from the previously booked Premier Plus room. The room was huge (like a duplex) with 2 floors. We had very comfortable sleep and a wonderful view from the balcony of the mountain and the valley. We also had some nice starters at the roof top restaurant with drinks and food was really yummy. Breakfast was also tasty and overall it was a short but sweet stay. I highly recommend visiting this place if you are in Kalimpong. Thank you Sinclairs.

Extremely comfortable rooms, NEAT and extremely CLEAN beds and blankets, beautifully decked up rooms ,homely food and above all, owner Mr Tamang ji took us for a nature walk. We would love to come back next year. Also safe for solo woman travellers. Not to forget the excellent view from the balcony... You get what you see in the pictures. Keep it up Mr Tamang Ji!!!
