I didn't stay but my parents stayed for a night to celebrate their anniversary and they had an excellent stay with comfy rooms, excellent food and lovely decorations made by the hotel staff to celebrate their anniversary. My mom specifically mentioned Chef Biswarup Kamal about his culinary skills and courteous behaviour.

We had a wonderful time at Calcutta Bungalow! The place is like an idyllic oasis in a busy city. It is calm and clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated. And the food is delicious (especially the fish curry)! Plus, we got to explore a part of town we would probably not have seen otherwise. We definitely recommend staying at the Bungalow if you are coming to Kolkata.

The room was a breath of fresh air (literally) in the chaotic and polluted city! The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The room also had lots of modern amenities like an air purifier, streaming platform etc. I highly recommend this hotel. The location is also very central.

We stayed at this property for five nights and it was a nice experience, it is located right in the heart of the city which made commute very convenient, park street is just a five minute cab ride away, property is quite insulated from outside noise which is important. Property comes with all amenities that one would need for a longer stay - kitchen, fridge, ironing facility, air conditioning, car parking, 24*7 security and laundry facility (on payment basis). It was clean and had bedspace for four people. Arun Malik is an excellent host, he was very responsive, we wanted some help regarding commute and shopping; he gave inputs which turned out really helpful. Will highly recommend this property.

Best hospitality in India🙏🏼 we absolutely loved everything about our stay here. Our room was clean and nicely decorated. You can feel the spirit of Bengali house there. All items around create unique atmosphere. Breakfast in the morning is prepared from the heart and most importantly - not spicy. We could use a kettle and fridge also. On our day of checkout they organised a little room for us, where we could keep our backpacks and change before night train. That’s so so nice! We didn’t expect that and appreciate it a lot.

Everything about this property, the host, the location is WOW. Anybody who is looking to immerse themselves in Traditional Bengali culture, way of living and art - this is the place to be. Fantastic guest house in Kolkata. After a 2 weeks stay in India, i greatly appreciated The Turquoise Letterbox hotel comfort. It is situated close to Park Street, a central street in town. The building is away from the noisy streets and very comfortable. The bed has a good mat, AC and ventilation are available. A little kitchen with water purifier and a fridge are a real plus. Balcony, western toilet, shower. TV, furniture... Nothing is missing. Soumik, the owner, is a very nice gentleman. He will help you for everything you need during your stay. Very friendly, smart type of man. 100% recommended.
