The basic welcome pack was much appreciated. We had access to two bedrooms with ensuites, if required. Accommodation was fully equipped and instructions well defined. Mary booked us into the local Tavern. It was an easy walk and served excellent meals. Sat Nav in car took us to the property.

We had a wonderful time at Bertra House and Margaret was a fantastic host. Loved the breakfasts and waking up to the stunning view - also only a 5 minute walk from the gorgeous Bertra beach but still a short drive from Westport. Would definitely recommend!

Clear instructions were emailed to use for access. The house and the setting are breathtaking. Aidan has used really great quality fixtures and fittings. There were great touches like some milk and butter in the fridge and some snacks. Lots of recommendations listed out. We couldn’t fault anything. Everything worked and the house was spotless. Great to see house martins nesting. I also saw a beautiful hare. Perfect!

Absolutely gorgeous location with views of the mountains as we stayed in the first room on the left. The host was fantastic and very welcoming and went above and beyond that we had a good breakfast and a sandwich to take with us.

I absolutely loved the view from the dinning area. Both the room and bathroom were very clean and cosy and had everyting that I needed,. The owner is a very kind and helpful lady, knowledgable about the area. She made sure to ask whether I had everything I needed before leaving me to relax in my room. The location is also great, very close to the centre.
