We were in Berna's Cottage for nearly 2 weeks and from the moment we entered the cottage it felt like home. The Cottage is cosy and perfect in every way. Cathy and Paul are perfect hosts and give you the feeling of a warm welcome when you arrive. The view from breakfast/Diner room is stunning and nice to start your day with.(and ofcourse the rest of the day) Bunclody is a lovely town with all needed for all that visit Berna's Cottage. Michael was awesome ! It was easy getting settled in and he made us feel welcome ! Michael gave us some history of the town and his B&B and suggested some other places to visit in Ireland that were on our trail! What a lovely property and the breakfast was delicious!

From the very beginning, we were warmly welcomed and checked in smoothly. When we asked to view another available room, the staff immediately arranged everything without hesitation and kindly accommodated all our wishes, even helping us move our belongings. The rooms themselves are a true work of art – elegant, stylish, and full of character. Dining at the Hound restaurant was an unforgettable experience – the food was so delicious that we kept thinking about it days later. Breakfast, billiards, sauna, cycling, live music, and so many other wonderful activities were already included in the room rate, making our stay even more special. The live music in the evening created an incredible atmosphere, and the estate grounds are simply breathtaking. At check-out, we didn’t have to worry about a thing – our luggage was taken care of, our car was brought to the entrance already loaded with our belongings, and all we had to do was step outside and drive off. The whole experience felt truly luxurious and unforgettable. It was difficult to leave, and we will definitely be back!

From the minute we walked we thought it was a great place the peace and quiet place it was real clean there was some bananas left on counter there was a 3 in 1 game so my daughter wouldn't be board we like it that much my partner turned to me and asked to book it for the next night as we only had book for one night it was a half hour drive to courtown a shop only 8 mins away we could buy some food so we could cook for dinners and breakfast gorey shopping center wasn't to far either we seen a aldi and tesco not to far as well so there was a lot near partner said he would book again as he loved it the owners were also real nice making sure everything was all good
