Beautiful and quaint old cottage with all the modern comforts. Central to Connemara and Galway + Westport. 2 x double beds and a room with 2 singles, the cottage is just perfect for a family holiday. The upstairs rooms and bathrooms are big enough with the narrow stairs and slanted ceiling. You will be positioned on a sheep farm with mountain ranges around you. Close by in Clonbur, there is a great little grocery store and other shops for supplies. We had great hospitality from the owners who stopped by to make sure we settled in ok. We'd highly recommend this authentic little place to stay.

We had a lovely stay at castlehouse b&b ! The authenticity of the place is refreshing as well as the kindness of the host, John, who gave us many helpful advice on local places. The location is priceless! Next to Connemara National Park. Very nice farm and is full of cute pigs and lambs. It was out perfect weekend getaway! Carmel and Fiona were very nice and helpful with us. They even provided us extra towel. I would definitely recommend this place to whoever is looking to have a great place to stay
