The house is quaint and comfortable. We had booked a cheaper room, as I thought that was all that was available, but the owner upgraded us to a bigger room in the main house free of charge. Thank you 🙏🏼 The staff were all very friendly. We also had dinner there, the food was delicious.

Breakfast was incredible. Marguerite prepared what we wanted at the moment... the Irish breakfast was incredible, but we had other options to eat. Marguerite was really kind, she waited awake for us to arrive even though we were really late in the night.

Set back in a beautiful, peaceful location close to the Blue Flag Fintra Beach. The cottage has everything you will need for an extremely comfortable stay, and if wifi is something you require, a perfect high-speed system is available to connect to, with access to Netflix and more. This cottage has room for everyone. A sun room with the background sound of the stream outside, a fantastic lounge with comfy seats, and a stone floored kitchen with a rocking chair, and even a small dog bed for our Lucy, who loved her stay. Have stayed there a good few times over the years with motorcycle friends, premises has new owners now ,"Delores and her family " always a home from home to stay in slieve league lodge. From what we seen from our latest stay New owners have the same plan for the place, good food, good bar, good rooms, good value, ideal base for touring Donegal. 10 out 10 from us old Mayo bikers.
