The homestay has a great homely feel about it, David the host is friendly and has great local knowledge from surfing to placers to go see around the area. Surfboard rental is available if need. Ari David’s employee cooks you a great breakfast and if you need a massage Ari is the lady.

The property is just steps away from the surf spot, and the selection of rental boards is not only extensive but also in excellent condition—something rare in the area. The owner was lovely, as was the rest of the staff. Extremely accommodating as we are vegan and they were able to organise meals for us. Arranging transport to the turtle lodge and to our next destination was also extremely easy. Couldn’t recommend this place enough! Breathtaking scenery and a beautiful place to stay.

The Rooms very super clean, the location is perfect. The Bathrooms could be a little bit in better shape but do their job. Additionally, the Wisma offers super good breakfast and dinner. We also really liked the garden, which is so beautifully designed. I cannot recommend it enough and would come back again! Also Pulau Merah is a picturesque beach and perfect for surfing!
