Wonderful views in all directions in probably the best hotel in the area of Ushba. Very friendly staff with excellent manager, cooks and other staff. The owner, Marlen and his wife are always ready to help and can arrange for any requirement, including travel, horse riding, excursions, guiding and, amazingly, traditional Svaneti dancing lessons in the premises of the hotel itself, using an ex-professional Georgian dancer and instructor! Nargiz and Natasha in the kitchen and hotel premises have also been extremely helpful and friendly, with excellent cooking and also providing washing machine for laundry.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It is located less than a mile from the city center in a very quiet area. The room was clean and tidy with all the necessary appliances and a great view of the mountains. The breakfasts were very tasty and hearty, combining traditional Georgian and international dishes. There was a power outage in the city for a few days during our stay due to heavy snow, but the hotel has a generator so we had no problems with room heating or charging our devices. But the best thing about this hotel is the stuff, they went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

The river Svaneti was the great place to start our hike from Mestia to Ushguli. We definitely recommend it. It is cosy and clean. The owner is very nice, he took us by car to the shop, because the place is in the calmer place little bit further from the centre, but OK to walk. The breakfast were amazing too. I cannot say enough good things about this guesthouse! The owner is an angel! Everything was very clean and comfortable. There was such a warm, family feel there, and it was the perfect size for conversations with friends old and new. I will ABSOLUTELY stay here!

Excellent stay at Svanieri We had a wonderful time at Svanieri. The privacy and quietness were exactly what we were looking for.
