We liked everything from the lovely warm welcome when we arrived to the exceptionally good plant based full breakfast before we left. The room was clean and comfortable with tea and coffee facilities. We walked along the canal path from the accommodation to the centre of Todmorden which was a great way to stretch the legs after traveling.

Very welcoming staff, easy parking, lovely room, super clean. We had a great lunch here, and loved the breakfast and service. The hotel was so close to everything. Thought it might be loud but we both slept like logs. Would definitely recommend and return if possible.

It was a comfy room in a lovely home and was the perfect accommodation for my night in Walsden. Jo was a fabulous host and even gave me a lift to Todmorden and booked me a taxi home. Definitely recommend for solo travellers or couples.

What an exceptional stay! The place was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and perfectly equipped for our trip. The 2.5 bathrooms were a huge plus for our group, and the kitchen had everything we needed – whether cooking in or ordering takeaways. The location was ideal, with shops and amenities close by, and the quiet neighborhood made it a relaxing retreat. We especially appreciated the reasonable checkout instructions – no excessive cleaning demands, just tidiness. It’s clear why so many guests return: this home offers great value, comfort, and peace of mind. We’d 100% stay again and highly recommend it to others!

We had a lovely stay in the Hare and Hounds. The room is charming and has recently been redecorated. It's very tastefully decorated, and the bathroom was very clean and spacious. The pub is also very nice, with a contemporary feel. We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast in the pub, and we found both excellent. Staff is friendly, the service was good, and I would say both accommodation and food are very good value for money. The location is good, with parking at the front. We also found some nice paths to walk our dogs in the surroundings. The dog friendliness is very much appreciated by us dog owners! A big thank you to the team in the Hare and Hounds for their kindness, and warm and welcoming service.
