Delightful stay. A beautifully appointed manor house with the grand portraits, gilded mirrors and beautiful objets but with all the comforts of a much-loved home. Kris and Steven were welcoming and considerate hosts. The cottage was spacious and had absolutely everything you needed. It was immaculate and well presented. There was a bottle of fiz and milk awaiting us in the fridge and complimentary teas and coffee. Chocolates and bags of snacks for the ducks

Loved the Christmas decorations (it saved me getting the ones were had brought out of the car). The milk and goodies were also a nice touch. On a very cold and frosty afternoon in the dark it was great to walk into a warm welcoming house. The Wifi was also good (there isn't much of a phone signal in the valley there).
