Everything about this property was great. It was comfortable, well equipped and had been renovated and furnished tastefully and to a high standard. The hosts were easy to contact and very open and approachable. We really enjoyed out time here :)

Everything was perfect. I would highly recommend! The lodge was very tastefully decorated and had everything that we needed. The hot tub was a great addition and worked perfectly. The Portmeirion crockery was amazing. The underfloor heating was lovely. The beds were comfy. The hosts were lovely and very responsive and offered us later checkout which was very much needed. The location was perfect and quiet.

Country Hotel is located on the edge of Rudyard Lake, providing a beautiful setting for guests.

We selected this property as it was the nearest to The Ashes Wedding Venue. This hotel's scenery is absolutely breathtaking....great for hikes! Dog friendly :) Staff were super helpful, accommodating, and extremely welcoming. Food delicious and good value for money! We hope to pay a visit to this place in the future.

The hotel itself was spotless, the staff accommodated my special request for banners for my husbands 40th birthday, the staff were all pleasant from the bar staff to the manager in the mornings when we were coming out of the room, there's a key code for the doors no keys to lose at alton towers, the low ceilings are paddd wich my hubby approved of being over 6ft, and there's Netflix on the TV in the room logged in as a guest account so there was something to watch at night.

It ideal for a short get away. One bedroom, comfy bed, good bathroom. Clear comms with owner. It is small and the stairs are tight (OK for us 😀). The sofa bed downstairs is OK.
