The wide range of fresh local sourced products from both in the restaurant as the store. The room was decorated creatively, someone really put some thought behind it. In addition, you also get acces to a communal living room with kitchen, which was a great bonus. The kitchen staff knew what they were doing and the people behind the bar were friendly and attentive.

To be honest we were looking for a no frills cheap room for an overnight stay. But what we found was a hidden gem of a pub located on the main road. Lovely little pub, great staff, and a huge family room. While all the other accommodations in the area were ridiculously expensive, this little gem was more than resonable

Warm and friendly welcome. Food was fantastic and all staff really polite and helpful. Room was immaculately clean, well presented, homely and comfortable with free fast WiFi & Sky. All at a really good price. We only had a very brief stay as we were travelling onwards and so regrettably had to leave before breakfast. Fortunately we have family living not so far away and hope to make full use of ‘The Queens Arms’ in the not too distant future. A gem of a place!

The ambiance of the bar upon arrival was good and the drinks and meals all very good. Dave (behind the bar) was good enough to help work the television and set up Sky in our room. The room was compact but perfectly adequate and met the criteria set in the advertising. The bathroom clean and functional with a great shower and toiletries. Breakfast service was very good.
