Staff : Note that the caravan was located in a wider "caravan park" which I guess maintained by a central corporation at the site. However for these several "private units", there was no reception facility, hence we just communicated via the Booking.com App (friendly in nature). The response time was very short i.e. same day and/or within hours. Check in process was super easy - the door was left unlocked and the keys are left on the kitchen table. Facilities : Inside, everything was complete and rather new. You will have all you need to enjoy your time there. For kids, there was also small play ground at the park (we didn't go as it was cold). It has 2 set of showers and toilets (convenient for 4 of us). Hot water running great with good pressure. All top notch. Cleanliness : Clean, and I recognised there was no shortcut taken when clean every inch of the house. Comfort : Bed and the caravan's atmosphere were comfortable and cosy. Value Money : We were travelling during autumn school holiday, and comparing other options around Lake District area, this is considered reasonable. Location : Inside the park and its surrounding - quiet and peaceful. From the caravan, we could see the sheep and rolling hills. Occasionally we saw hare/ rabbits too!. Within Lake District area, although most things are at least 20min away (normal for such a big nature park and area). Hence you must need a car on your own. Others: We are family of 4. Internet was OK but not too strong. We were there exploring Lake District, hiking Cat Bells with kids and went visiting the small towns until Windemere. You will have your own parking in front of the Caravan. Since this is within a remote area, everything else are quite far (grocery stores, tank stations etc.). Hence, come prepared.

Friendly and very helpful staff. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. Enjoyed having meals out in the lovely garden. My room has a view of the sprawling fields.

Beautifully appointed and maintained and full of character

I had a wonderful stay at the lodge this past Friday and Saturday. The place was clean, cozy, and very well equipped with everything we needed. The surroundings were peaceful and perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway with family. We especially appreciated the attention to detail and the comfortable atmosphere of the lodge. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet and enjoyable stay.

Absolutely stunning lodge! The decor, the space and the facilities are to a very high standard! Cozy, inviting, spacious and modern. Views from the lodge are amazing! The lodge is situated currently with 3 other lodges, very far apart, so we loved the privacy and had no concerns with our young children playing outside. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t the best, extremely high winds and rain but it meant we made the most of the lodge. The lodge was equipped with everything needed for our short break. Added equipment like the iron, iron board, hoover, brush and shovel, hand wash and lotion is a great touch! Will definitely book again for a longer stay. Thank you for our stay.

The property was very spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable and the kitchen/living area was lovely. Disappointed we were only here for 1 night as we would have liked to spend more time there.

Entire property is excellent .

It was clean, modern, really well equipped, nothing like the caravans you used to get. Heating worked really well even in the minus temperatures we had while there. Beds were comfy, everything worked as it should and the views of the mountains were great to wake up to.
