Great experience from start to finish. Duncan is an excellent host. Very friendly and genuine. Couldn’t do enough for myself and my friend who had travelled up from Livingston for the game in Dingwall. Our rooms were spotlessly clean, very comfortable, and spacious. The full Scottish breakfast was 5 star. My wife, Karen, booked our rooms, but it was Graeme and I (Iain) that stayed. Thanks Duncan.

Excellent hotel with great view to Loch Ness. The restaurant is offering really tasty food, I ate the daily special menu of venison loin with good wine and the Scottish whiskey, which the waiter recommended (it was exactly to my taste). Also there were multiple choices at the breakfast to choose. The restaurant has nice cozy atmosphere and beautiful view towards the Loch Ness. The room was spotless and big and from the window I had also partly view to the lake. In the front of the hotel there is a statue of the Loch Ness monster "Nessie" and other side of the road the small harbour, where I took the Jacobite cruise to the Urquhart castle. Hotel has good location if you're heading to Urquhart Castle or Inverness. Good parking lot in the front of the hotel. There is a souvenir shop, where you can buy e.g. "the Nessie". Good choice for the families too.

We really loved staying here. We stayed at the apartment and made daytrips to the Highlands, the Isle of Skye and Loch Ness which are all very close and easy to reach by car. The breakfast was very nice. They even had some vegan choices and lots of vegetarian (including eggs ;) ) The atmosphere in and around the rewilding center was very nice and calm. The nature is stunning. We loved it a lot although we did not spend much time. We would definitely come again!

You won't find a more traditional Scottish ambiance anywhere else. This place has such charm...burning wood fire, traditional music playing whilst you eat a delicious home cooked full, hot breakfast. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Yes, the decor is a little tired but for us this just added to the charm. Staff were so helpful and the location is fantastic!

It was an amazing experience. We never knew what it would be like to stay in the old Abbey but the combination of the old (history, beautiful architecture, stunning views of the lake and the surrounding landscapes) and the new (neat, modern facilities, access to the pool and sauna) was exceptional. We loved how big our apartment was. Our daughter had her own room and bathroom and we all had a separate living room with majestic high ceilings and a big kitchen. We also got a lovely hamper as a welcome gift, which was very handy when didn’t feel like braving the cold to go out to buy a snack.
