Staying at the Runavik Hotel was a very nice part of our trip to the Faroe Islands. We stayed for one night at first, but ended up staying for two more nights. The central location of the hotel was convenient for us, with nowhere far to go. We were also given a complimentary upgrade to the best room and although Booking didn't advertise it, breakfast was part of our stay. Everyone in the restaurant was also very nice, both the lady who took care of breakfast and the lady who served us for dinner. The breakfast deserves a special comment as it was very varied - sweet, savoury pastries, sausages, eggs, cold cuts, a wide range of cheeses, cereals etc. We can really recommend a stay in the hotel to anyone looking for comfort when travelling around the beautiful Faroe Islands.

Mainly, I loved the serenity and the solitude of the location. The property was finished to a very high standard, including decoration and comfort and the underfloor heating. Swimming in the sea each morning, and then returning to this toasty cabin was pure heaven. A rare find!

Whatever I write will not be enough. Extremely nice and kind hostess. Made me feel like I am home. I didn't take advantage of the breakfast due to my early departure every morning but she made me a lunch pack everytime. She was very pleasant to talk to. Very nice and clean place. Close to the bus station. It's worth the price. One of my greatest experience ever! Thank you for everything!

The house seems small, but inside is absolutely perfect, cosy and spacious - kitchen, and very nice living room in the ground floor, two bedrooms and bathroom in the first floor. Clean bedwash and all spaces. When is cold day and rain (on Faroe islands it can be every day:-)), heating is shortly in process. The house is in central position - few metres from bus station, ferry and supermarket. View to the harbor. Easy communication with helpful owner - thank you Jan and your mother.
