Great appartment in Bad Essen. We stayed here for 6 nights with our newborn and had a good time. The appartment has everything you need and is really spacious. It is quiet in the small garden and it offers a nice view on the forest. The host is very kind and easy to contact.

This is a superb small hotel. It’s stylish, absolutely spotless, very friendly and personal staff - you feel this is a professionally run place where staff delivers excellent service in a naturally genuine way. Beds/room were wonderful; clean, comfortable and inviting. Perfect and big breakfast with great choice and quality produce. It felt like the most perfect place we have ever visited in Germany in our travel through the country. In addition, it’s located in a charming little village in beautiful surroundings. We couldn’t believe our luck to have found this little gem - and will definitely return. Thanks for running such a wonderful hotel!

Warm atmosphere, high culture, very beautiful location with blooming trees. Everything was extremely clean. Small towels in toilet instead of paper ones - perfection! All the necessary things were there in the room, including kitchen utensils, iron board and even the heating pad! Tasty food!

Staying in the watermill was something extra. The location is very beautiful and quiet, away from but conveniently close to larger villages and towns. The mill has been restored tastefully with quality materials. There are nice small well-thought out details everywhere (like providing baking paper, box of tissues) that are very much appreciated, yet not offered by many accommodations. The owners are very kind and even helped us quickly sort out our car trouble.
